2019 Blizzard Rustler 9 Skis with Marker Griffon 13 ID Bindings 8A811000K
Rustler 9 Skis with Bindings. The Rustler 9 is a brand new ski from Blizzard for 2019 and is not the narrowest ski in their all mountain freeride collection. The Rustler 9 is one of those skis that could easily be a one-ski-quiver. It's versatile enough to take just about anywhere and performs really well in a wide range of terrain and conditions. On firm snow the beach and poplar in the wood core combined with the full width metal laminate under foot gives it good torsional strength and vibration damping for those that want to ski aggressively, but because the tips and tails to not have metal the swing weight is reduced, which makes them a little more user-friendly. The softer and lighter tips and tails allow you to enter a turn a little more easily and also make the ski easier to maneuver. When you're in softer snow the rockered tips and tails give it a very catch-free, maneuverable, confidence inspiring feel as it's easy to shed speed quickly, allowing you to ski very direct lines when you want to. Whether you're carving up groomers, playing in the bumps and trees, and shredding some fresh powder, you'll have a blast with the Rustler 9 on your feet. Sidecut: 127.5/94/117 mm at 180 cm Length. Turn Radius: 17 m at 180 cm Length. ISO-Paulownia-Balsa-Poplar-Beech Wood Core (yeah, that's right, 5 different materials). Ability Level: Advanced Intermediate to Expert. Read below for more information on BSL. Where to Find Your Boot Sole Length (BSL).
The boot sole length is not your foot size or boot size; it is a millimeter measurement of the boot shell. Ski boot manufacturers emboss this measurement into the plastic shell at the heel or under the arch. The number will fall between 255-365mm for an adult ski boot. This number will be greater than your mondo boot size eg. A mondo size of 23.5 commonly has a BSL of 275mm.
