The sensor wood core combined with the ski's cap construction provides a stable, confidence-inspiring feel, but is more user-friendly and easier to ski than a ski with a vertical sidewall. This makes turn initiation a little easier for lighter weight skiers while also boosting durability so the skis will hold up to the abuse kids can sometimes dish out on their gear.
The Step Junior uses a full rocker profile that gives it a very smooth, catch-free feel whether you're spinning off lips in the terrain park, skiing moguls, or even playing around in powder conditions.
