It's a pretty rare shape in today's day and age thanks to its 66 mm waist width. The narrow shape gives it a quick feel edge to edge allowing for really direct lines through the moguls. Beginner and intermediates may find the 244 is a challenge in the moguls because it likes to ski such a direct line. If you consider yourself a timid skier or are just figuring out moguls a wider ski with more rocker may be more user-friendly for you. For advanced and expert skiers, however, the 244 gives you the tool to send it straight down the fall line whether you're in a purpose-built mogul course of just a bumped up run at your local resort.

Ability Level: Intermediate to Expert Mogul Skiers. This is a precise measurement that is needed to mount correctly. We will respond each morning confirming that we received the boot sole length. Ski boot manufacturers emboss this measurement into the plastic shell at the heel or under the arch. The number will fall between 255-365mm for an adult ski boot. This number will be greater than your mondo boot size eg. A mondo size of 23.5 commonly has a BSL of 275mm. Please include the mm unit to indicate that the number given is the BSL and not the mondo size.
