For intermediates looking to advance and gain confidence in carved turns, this is a great shape, profile and construction. The narrower the waist, the more torsionally stiff the ski will be. The tips and tails are a bit wider, so that does eat into some of the stiffness, but it's appropriate for the conditions and the skill level of the skier, so it's all good in that department. With a Catch-Free rocker profile, the skis are easy to initiate and exit turns, and will virtually eliminate any type of edge catching, allowing you to progress with confidence and security. The core is made from Aspen and features a Bio-Konic technology that places more of the mass over the edges of the skis. As a result, the central portions of the skis are lighter, reducing the overall weight of the ski and giving the skier a strong platform to stand on and some very precise edge grip.

The shorter lengths have what K2 calls Correct Flex, and this is the process of making all the skis the same stiffness, regardless of length.
