The Magnum 8.1 IQ Max is the Swiss army knife of the Magnum series. Built around an 81mm waist profile and a medium turn shape the Magnum 8.1 is most happy on trail but has enough width to comfortably slay open bowls and the occasional tree or bump run. With IQ Max Sandwich Compound Sidewall construction as its backbone you'll have all the strength and edge hold you could ever ask for. Backing up the construction is a full wood core reinforced with titanium layers adding huge amounts of pop and power to help it kill vibration for a very connected feel with the snow. Serving two purposes the tip rocker allows turns with little effort considering how much energy it gives back and allows the tip of the ski to plane above chop and soft snow for a smooth feel on inconsistent snow. The IQ Max binding system is specifically designed to increase the edge to edge quickness of skis over 80mm underfoot.
