K2 OBSETHED Big Mtn Skis 179cm with Marker Jester Schizo Freeride + Park Bindings

Style: Freeride, All Mountain, Park, Pipe, Backcountry. This is a Freeride and powder ski that excels as an All Mountain ski. This was Seth Morrison's pro model back when K2 made amazing skis. The skis are setup for a 27.5 mondo ski boot with a 317mm length, but the Marker Jester Schizo bindings are super adjustable and will not require a redrill if you decide to keep them in most cases, as they shift 60mm or 3cm each way in variable adjustment. This ski is not available anymore, but this is the highly sought after 2010 model and is actually ski skiable vs just wall art (which is what I have used them for in the past few years).

K2 obSETHed Skis 2010: Seth wanted his ski to feature the best of both worlds, rocker and camber. And what Seth wants, Seth gets. His modified tip and tail rocker design elevates floatation in soft snow and increases adaptability in crud and chopped up snow conditions. The Progressive Sidecut and regular camber underfoot give the obSETHed the overall advantage over other skis, providing quicker aggressive turn initiation on hardpack snow, but an easy smooth tail release in soft conditions. Tip/Tail 10/20 Rocker Design: Tips are raised 10mm off the snow and begin their rise 20 cm from the ends of the ski. No big deal - it's just geometry. Vertical ABS Sidewall with Horizontal Die-Cut Design: impact toughness protects the core, aids in the direct transmission of power. Fir core is naturally strong and durable, producing a smooth flex allowing the ski to achieve full contact with the snow throughout a turn. Requires brake width of at least 100mm.
