This is the non-system version of the Deacon 76, and also has a Race Finish for ultra-speed. The shape of the ski is a bit wider than a World Cup ski and this gives you a better balance point to be on. This wider width, still only 76 mm underfoot, can hold a serious edge. You won't notice losing much torsional stiffness with these skis-they're all there. In terms of profile, Volkl puts in its XTD tip and tail rocker to make the skis a bit more user-friendly.
