Volkl Deacon (2019) 74 Skis 173 cm with Marker Integrated Adjustable Bindings

These skis are from the 2019 season and were also skied in 2020 (not this season). These are 173 cm and come with the Marker integrated binding system which will accommodate most boot sizes and ability levels with a DIN up to 13.
They are currently set for a 320 mm sole or about a mens 10 1/2 shoe. These are amazing front side, quick turning carving skis that is best enjoyed skiing it in a shorter length especially if you enjoy making slalom turns. These are great skis for eastern skiing on our more firm snow. My skiing friends and I bought them as a group.
I recommend going to the Volkl internet page and reading the companys description. In the photos, you will see two nicks on one ski's top sheet. There was also some epoxy applied to the tails due to some chipping. My friend, who owns these, had the bad habit of tapping his skis on the ground to remove snow. There are no repairs or issues cosmetic or otherwise to the bases or edges. To answer a recent question..... The protrusion on the shovel of the ski is called a UVO device. Technically, it is a viso-elastic substrate that converts vibrational energy to heat. This serves to keep the ski stable (damp) when skiing aggressively. Volkl used this device on many of their recent skis most notably on the RTM 84.
